An objective and independent driving assessment is what we offer.
Our aim is to help ensure the safety of all Road users throughout the country.
On the Road assessment is an assessment of a realistic driving situation
The assessment can be key in helping a person begin, continue or return to driving. A trained and fully qualified Instructor will perform the assessment in the Clients car, in the local area where the person is most likely to drive. The safety of the driver as well as other road users is priority in assessing the abilities and competency of the driver.
Our on-road assessment follows the guidelines of the RSA 2019 Traffic Medicine Competency Framework.
Upon completion of the Assessment a report is formulated and recommendations discussed. A comprehensive report will then be forwarded onto the referring Health Care Professional. Final decision on fitness to drive will always lie with the Health Care Professional.
A driving assessment can be required for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
